Derivation of the wordmark ''pixixel''
From the trademark application submitted to the German Patent and
Trademark Office (DPMA); Appendix 3, ''Description of the trademark''

The wordmark p i x i x e l is an invented word, created by combining two words:
p i x e l
and
X X L .

pixel
is likewise an artificial word constructed from the words
picture and
element.
The term pixel is used to describe the smallest elements of a digital raster image
as well as their colours (colour values).
Thus a pixel represents the smallest unit and foundation
of every modern-day method of (commercial) (visual) communication!

XXL
[pronounced: "ix ix el" in German]
originally a designation used in the clothing industry
for a clothing size
(the largest clothing size available):
Extra Extra Large [abbr.: XXL].
XXL is a contemporary colloquialism
for the absolute maximum.

Thus the wordmark p i x i x e l combines the words:
(in alphabetic order)
Fundamental) component, picture, picture element, pixel, digital, (smallest) unit, element, colour, palette, graphic, (especially) large, largest possible, basis, (especially) small, maximum, pixel, raster image & XXL.
